The 31st of August 1974 marks a milestone for many of us. It was regulated by our goverments that it was illegal to transmit (commercial) radio programs from the seas from that day. Since then the landscape of radio stations changed radically. We now have fully licenced commercial radio stations (and television), the only differnce is that now the government takes a cut. To bring back some memories when it all was not so complicated and actually more fun our 398 edition of the TVRDO takes you back to some fine tunes from the offshore stations. And yes, it is ofcourse all prog related. Join us on the 31st of August on http://www.Glassrock.nl and on the 1st of September on http://www.Poprockfm.com when we play music by Chicago, Seventh Wave, Genesis, Yes, Spyro Gyra, Wishbone Ash, Loving Awareness, Focus, Fields, Illusion, Ekseption, Goblin, Ides of March, the Peddlers, the Strawbs, and much more, layered with jingles from those magnificent radio stations
