Paul Carrack, singer/songwriter and musician features in this last episode of TVRDO in november. Paul takes us through his carreer, the songs he wrote which became major hits and the songs he wrote for others, which eventually lead him to be reckonised in the world of music. In this hour he talkes about Ace, Squeeze, the Eagles, Michael McDonald, Linda Rondstadt, Diana Ross, Mike and the Mechanics, Eric Clapton and the Faces. A spell which he doesn't want to rembered by is the band Warm Dust, a band he started his carreer with, which made Prog Rock, and according to Paul they took themselves far too serious. Well we let you be the judge of that, since in the 2nd hour (TVRDOverdrive) on the setlist is a 20 minute track from Warm Dust but also Camel and Catherdral.
The Paul Carrack Special is on this Saturday between 21:00 and 22:00 hours.

Night time clouds are being swept away is a text on the re-release of Procol Harum's "Something Magic", did they have a vision back in 1977 on the Covid vaccin I wonder but according to Swedish new wave band Kai Martin & Stick they can now remember it whether it's coming from the East of the Sun or West of the Moon according to Brazilian band Sagrado Coracao da Terra from their release 20 Years ago. TVRDO 458 Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th of October

The last show for Progtober means we say goodbye to Lunar Clock as our album of the month. The common thread in these 2 shows is King Crimson. First off we consider the passing of Gordon Haskell last Sunday with a track he released in 1974 from his "It Is Or It Isn't" album featuring John Wetton on bass. He recorded "Lizard" with King Crimson which also included Jon Anderson as guest, and he's on the show with his new and protest song "Screw Yourself". Gordon replaced Greg Lake in KC, as he went on to form Emerson Lake & Palmer, and the latter we find in the Vault, since an Anthology has just been released, time spanning his carreer. Apart from the adaptations of this song by Gary and Steve there's another connection. Peter Green "sold" his 1957 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop to Gary back in the early seventees and Steve Hackett plays (among others) a Fernandes with sustainer which was given to him by his and Gary's guitar technician when Gary passed on. You can find the broadcast schedules on the "On Air" tab.
