The Album of the Month December: Freedom to Glide - The Chronicle of Stolen Souls
The songs on this album are easy to listen to, but with a great content lyric wise and some extraordinary playing by the musicians involved. This is just a very good neoprog album with a surprising role from Kayak's Ton Scherpenzeel on the last track of the album. A full review is here: http://www.tvrdo.nl/453464434
Second time around for Realisea to be voted Album of the Month. Mantelpeace was AOM May 2020.
Millenium is a five piece formation from Poland that has released 18 studio-albums, 1 live album, 2 live DVD’s and 7 compilations between 1999 and 2022. Again we voted this new release by Millenium as Album of the Month (The Sin from 2020 was the other one). A full review of the album by Erik Neuteboom can be read here: http://www.tvrdo.nl/447839632
From Berkshire here's Mordecai Smyth with his third long play album. His previous releases were the pop-psych album "Sticky Tape and Rust" and the single, "Georgina Jones". In 2017,
Mordecai released a more progressive sounding album, "The Mayor of Toytown is Dead" to critical acclaim: it was voted "album of the year" in the American Goldmine magazine's "Spin cycle" section by Dave Thompson and now there's "Things are Getting Stranger
on the Shore". This album builds on the previous one, giving a progressive, and art rock feel, whilst skirting around alternative rock/pop genres. As with "Toytown" which featured special guest Dave Lambert from the Strawbs ‘Shore’ features guest
appearances by Jon Camp, formerly of Renaissance, Icarus Peel and Crystal Jacqueline.

Birth is a new four piece prog band from the USA with former members of the band Astra. Our reviewer Erik Neuteboom is impressed and calls it an interesting and varied debut album. One can read the review here: http://www.tvrdo.nl/452852273
A Tribute album as Album of the Month. Never in a Million Years ! We make an exception for this stellar piece of work "Celebrating the Dragon - A Tribute to John Wetton". A double CD
featuring Italian bands and artists and two British ones. For us at TVRDO, we were always impressed by John Wetton's legacy and given the fact that the artists on this akbum pay a solid tribute, we couldn't ignore it. You can read Erik Neuteboom's review of
the album here:

“Monsters From The Id” is the logical realization of Craven’s musical trajectory thus far. It’s an album of two halves, each containing a traditional progressive rock “epic” the length of a side of vinyl. The two pieces comprise flowing parts and movements with both rock and Hans Zimmer-esque orchestral arrangements, punctuated by Ben's distinctive lead guitar and vocals. Yet the album is predominantly instrumental.

Highly acclaimed UK melodic prog-rock band.
Their epic storytelling music continues with album 3,"DAYS
OF INNOCENCE" due 16/04/2022 The band regard it as their best work to date and look forward to playing the songs live during the course of 2022.
Two years after their debut album Chroma, Marc Atkinson (Riversea), Iain Jennings (Mostly Autumn), David Clements (Riversea), Alex Cromarty and Martin Ledger released their follow up with Anne-Marie Helder on harmony vocals.
A new offering from the very prolific Ukrainian prog maestro Antony Kalugin, his 13th recording under the name Karfagen. Almost an hour of proper symphonic art rock, made with heart
and feeling, with some elements of Canterbury, Fusion and Jazz!
This is his/their second time to be voted Album of the Month on TVRDO, following "Birds of Passage" in January 2020.
Welcome To The Planet comes six months after the release of the band’s critically acclaimed top 40 album Common Ground and is the last to feature David Longdon as vocalist. David sadly passed away the 20th of November last year at the age of 56, following an accident. The band also features three new members: Carly Bryant, Dave Foster and Clare Lindley. It's the 2nd time an album by Big Big Train is voted Album of the Month. (following "A Stone's Throw From The Line" in 2017)
